Number 5 on the top 5 returns in current era WWE is none other than Booker T. Booker T’s return is on this list for many reasons: the excitement, the shock, the surprise, the entertainment value, and so on.

Booker T initially returned at the Royal Rumble a few years back to a massive pop (cheering of the crowd) and had a pretty good showing. His return was one of the, if not THE moment of the night and he looked like he could still wrestle pretty well.

After that, Booker T was a commentator, providing us great entertainment on Smackdown with his great euphemisms, his great talking skills, charisma, and so on. He was easily one of the better announcers, more than likely the best due to his mic skills, charisma, and actual knowledge of wrestling and being a competitor. Plus he was funny. Then Booker made yet another return to the ring to face Cody Rhodes in a match or two, and again looked like he was in good shape and could still wrestle well. It made many crave for a full time return, though that didn’t happen.

Next and finally, Booker came back as a GM of Smackdown and again entertained us with his mic skills, charisma, and comedy factor. He played his role well and entertained the fans while doing so.

Overall, Booker made many returns, and all of them were great. He was entertaining, funny, charismatic, and his wrestling ability was still top notch. He came back to not only entertain, but to help elevate a younger opponent in Cody Rhodes, and he accomplished that and more which is why his return is #5 on this list.
