Kofi Kingston vs Damian Sandow (Intercontinental Championship Match) – WWE Smackdown 112312570490206 by dm_513756eb55573
The Trouble in Paradise is one of the most visually impressive finishers in the WWE. It can be set up against a downed opponent, it can be a running move, off the rebound from hitting the ropes, hit vs. a mid-air opponent, or hit after reversing a finisher. It is very versatile in its nature as a striking move, and the spinning, the setup of the move gives the audience a feeling of anticipation right before the finisher hits. Even when it misses, the build up is enough to make a proper moment.
The sheer athleticism of Kofi helps make the move what it is, and it’s an exciting moment no matter when it is performed. It’s like the #4 and #5 finishers in that its impact adds to it, it can be hit in many positions, and the innovation of the competitor enhances the finisher, but unlike #4 and #5 it would be a visual spectacle without any of the extra components.
The combination of the impressive nature of the move, the versatility, the impact, and the credibility is what makes Trouble in Paradise #3 on this list.
